Community Concern of WNY is in the process of rebranding and a name change. As of October 4th we will officially be known as Harmonia Collaborative Care, Inc. You can expect the same people, at the same locations providing the same quality services you have come to know from us.

So, why the Name Change?

For years, people have struggled to understand the services our organization provides.

The word “concern” was especially troubling for people to define as it related to a human service agency, and it often carries negative connotations, such as when one is worried or feels a sense of anxiety. Alternatively, Harmonia —the Greek mythological goddess of harmony and unity — carries images of people working together, happily — and very much in-tune with one another.

Harmonia Collaborative Care services are designed to improve life balance and enhance mental health, personal growth and independence. It seemed like Harmonia was the perfect choice not just for the agency we are today, but for the one we want to become.
